BRIAN'S TAKE

Although there aren't a ton of different locations in this show, the physical transition between each location is complicated (especially since you're often going from interiors to exteriors and back). Thankfully, we were able to track through all the transitions with the creative team during the first week of rehearsal and took time in the room to assign and rehearse each move. Even though actors didn't necessarily get to touch the piece of scenery/furniture they would be moving until we got into tech, they at least knew where they were entering/exiting, what they were responsible for, and where it was shifting. We tracked all this info in our breakdowns including what costume we thought the actor would be in. This made creating run sheets and costume plots much simpler as we got closer to tech.
