BRIAN'S TAKE
At the end of an intense summer stock season, it was cathartic to do this heartwarming play featuring some local actors. Doing a play about a family with a lake house while in New Hampshire and your audience is full of people who are there for the summer staying at their lake houses meant patrons connected deeply to what was happening. We also included some personal items from local donors, the cast, and creative team to make the set a real "home." We were fortunate to get to hear real loons on the lakes after rehearsal each night and our ETHEL proved to be an expert on their different kinds of calls.
